How that differs from planner suites

Homeschool Planet and similar tools plan a year of lessons, often from a publisher, then mark them done. Home Year starts the other way: you assign this week, the child works the list, you stamp it, then you log the day. The packet is a copy of that log. It does not claim you are in compliance.

How that differs from a parent diary

Some apps only record what already happened, often on a phone, with no kid login. That is a diary. Home Year is a household loop. The child has a list before the day starts.

Price and records
